Sqwirl Lab is looking for an HR Manager to cultivate an innovative and human centric culture as the company grows in size and spirit. At the Lab, everyone gets to be themselves, to flourish, grow and develop into the best that they can be.  The role should manage employee relations, compliance and wellness, to ensure that Sqwirl Lab is an environment in which smart, ambitious people can do their best work and grow professionally. You will work with highly motivated teams to plan, implement, and optimize initiatives and systems designed to enhance productivity and workflow. 

The HR Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full human resource support to all of the Sqwirl Lab startups. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives and driving functional HR excellence and human capital processes.



  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company
  • Successfully monitor the the productivity level employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
  • Assess people’s development needs, make recommendations, and implement development solution
  • Create an effective recruitment funnel for the various start ups at the Lab
  • Create and drive effective employee relations and retention
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results



  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Experience working with team restructuring, performance management, and appraisal processes
  • Resume that shows steady progression in HR Management for the last 5+ years
  • Prior experience in coaching and mentoring direct reports on people management
  • Strong project management skills
  • The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves"
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role



  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or Masters in Human Resource Management
  • Experience in a tech company or a tech startup
